May Update

First of all we are very excited to have been featured in Kid's Wear Department's blog, where hey have given us a profile explaining what Loud Apparel is about as a brand. You can see the site here.

We have also been featured in Dashin Fashion, an online kids wear magazine. Dashin Fashion is a site with which has all the hottest news and brands from the world of children's wear, so we are proud to have been featured. We are singled out as "not to be missed", which is high praise indeed. You an see our page here

Polish website Hipkiddo has published a review of our latest collection. The site was formed by two dads who only show what they define as "cool stuff" so it is great to be recognised for our "sophisticated inspirations". 

Finally, we will be displaying our SS14 collection at two upcoming trade shows. First of, in June we will be heading to Bubble London here in our hometown. Then in July we will be heading to Paris for the Playtime Showcase. Hope to see you there! You can get get more information on these events at their websites.

Here is what we have from the hot weather of Australia!

More soaring temperatures in Melbourne, and more chance to be out and about getting your playtime in. We opted for a lovely nature playground in the late afternoon on Saturday where we could let the kids run loose and get some playing in. The big people found some nice shade and had time to just enjoy a cup of coffee and have a moment to just look the kids and trying to figure out what they were playing. It is amazing just how much imagination that a child has. They were everything from rally car drivers, to two squirrels stuck in quick sand, to jumping frogs, to monsters... and the role play continued from there... 

M had the chance to try out her new 10IS sneakers which she loved. She was so enamored with them that she insisted on taking them off when she went in the sand because she didn't wanted them to even get dirty (now that's the first!!). They also got to wear their matching LOUD Apparel tees which are so cool, one says: What looks like half a monster? and the other says: The other half!. So perfect for these two siblings :) Big thanks to LOUD apparel for sending them to us!

After all that play we packed up and headed to some good friends for a BBQ evening. They are Americans so they served up a mean menu of grilled corn on the cob, spareribs, salads and desserts... Needless to say we all stumbled straight into bed after that fun filled day. Phu! Summer is good!

LOUD APPAREL AW 2012 AND SNEAK PEEK OF AW 2013

I am really digging this Loud Apparel. Drawing inspiration from Rick Owens, Comme Des Garcons, Margiela and Balenciaga, they have succeeded at a very hip yet yet fun label for kids. Aimed at style conscious children, from 3 to 12 years old, the brand is an amalgamation of the creativity of London design and immaculate Italian craftsmanship using mainly the highest quality of cotton fabrics. Playtime Paris kids fashion fair trends for fall / winter 2013,the UK and Scandinavian exhibitors.

I was surprised to see so many Scandinavian exhibitors at Playtime Paris kids fashion fair last weekend, it seems the closure of CPH Kids fair has propelled them into the fair in search of new customers.

Some but not all will also be exhibiting at CIFF Kids the competitor trade fair in Copenhagen which started on Wednesday. There was a fair smattering of UK exhibitors too despite the clash with Bubble London. Some highlights from exhibitors of both countries below.

Loud Apparel showed a graphically simple but effective loose sweat collection in their signature style for fall 2013
