London met Italy: Loud Apparel Spring-Summer 2012 collection

I'm very happy today to write about a successful marriage UK+Italy, made in the name of style: Loud Apparel. This brand  is synonymous with style and quality. Started in 2010 by an Italian who’s lived in London for many years, Loud Apparel combines the creativity of London design with the tradition of Italian manufacturing. At first glance it is clear that the brand is a superb amalgamation of London and Italy. Loud Apparel is for fashionable children and in turn their parents who like to style their image. The brand promotes versatility and imagination; every piece is wearable and yet beautifully constructed.

The soul of Loud Apparel is Serena Di Scalzo, Founder and Designer. I'm very curious to know her story, and you? She says to me: "I am Italian, a mum of a 8years old boy Zion, living in London for many years now, I've been graduated at the London College of Fashion, with degree in Fashion Design Technology. I have been working in London for few collections with the designer Kinder Aggugini, I had a broad tailoring and made to measure training in an indipendent London boutique/designer Androulla Toumazos, amongst other freelance works and projects in London and Italy.

Living in the trendy area of east London, Dalston and be the neighbour of designers as Fleet Ilya, Emma Cook, Christopher Kane to name a few, after my son was born I decided to create LOUD APPAREL which I thought I could share the different and cutting-edge style with other trendy parents who like to style their children as I do, combining with the traditionality of italian minimalism and fine manufacturing. Designed in London and created in Italy... an extremely successful process! This is a part of what makes us so special, especially combined with our individual and minimal look. Drawing influences from Rick Owens, Margiela, Lanvin and Balenciaga, the result can only be inspired".

Spring Summer 2012 is a brilliant collection, the designer has left no stone unturned. From the strong T-Shirts with fun slogans, to the inspired Connor leather/denim boy jacket. The color palette of this season is monochrome, white, black and blue, making it ideal for those who want some twinkle in everyday life. Aimed at children from the ages of 4 to 12, it promotes versatility and imagination. The tags on the garments add more fun to the Loud Apparel experience, with instructions for kids to give to their parents. Kids delight in reading these instructions, and adults like the fun ending. Loud Apparel is known to be of the highest quality. The fabrics used are ideal for children and the tailoring of the clothes highlights this. The Spring Summer 2012 collection utilized the finest jersey cotton and beautiful Italian leather, making the clothes investment pieces and not to be associated with ‘fast’ fashion.
